Scale Points Policy
This Scale Points Policy governs the earning, use, redemption, expiry, and management of Scale Points offered by Scale Arts In (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By registering on the website, placing an order, or participating in the Scale Points program, the customer (“you”, “user”) agrees to be bound by the terms set out below.
1. Nature of the Scale Points Program
Scale Points are a complimentary loyalty benefit provided by the Company as a goodwill gesture to eligible registered customers.
Scale Points:
Are not a legal entitlement
Do not represent stored value, prepaid value, or electronic money
Do not constitute a contractual or monetary right
The Company reserves the absolute right to grant, withhold, modify, suspend, or discontinue Scale Points at its sole discretion.
2. Eligibility
To earn or redeem Scale Points:
The customer must be registered and logged in to the website at the time of the qualifying activity.
Scale Points are issued only to the registered account under which the qualifying order or activity is completed.
Guest checkouts are not eligible for Scale Points.
3. Earning Scale Points
Scale Points may be earned through eligible activities, including but not limited to:
Purchases made on the Company’s web store
Referral or promotional programs, where applicable
Scale Points are credited automatically to the customer’s Scale Points wallet after successful order processing.
In case of:
Order cancellation
Return or refund (full or partial)
Failed or reversed transactions
the corresponding Scale Points shall be automatically reversed or debited.
The Company reserves the right to refuse awarding Scale Points on any order or activity without assigning a reason.
4. Sale Periods and Promotional Restrictions
During sale events, clearance sales, promotional campaigns, or special discount periods:
Earning or accumulation of Scale Points may be temporarily disabled
Redemption of Scale Points may be restricted or suspended
Such decisions shall be at the Company’s sole discretion and do not require prior notice.
5. Points Expiry
All Scale Points earned are valid for a period of 60 days from the order date unless otherwise specified.
Expired Scale Points:
Will lapse automatically
Cannot be reinstated, extended, or refunded
6. Scale Points Wallet
Customers may view their:
Earned Scale Points
Available balance
within the Scale Points window in their account dashboard. The Company shall not be responsible for failure to monitor or redeem points before expiry.
7. Redemption of Scale Points
Scale Points may be redeemed from the Scale Points window, subject to eligibility and availability. Upon redemption:
A coupon code is generated
The coupon may be applied during checkout on eligible purchases
Discounts are calculated as per the prevailing Scale Points conversion rules
The Company reserves the right to:
Impose minimum order values
Restrict redemption on specific products or categories
Limit coupon usage or stacking with other offers
8. No Cash Value and No Refunds
Scale Points and any coupons generated from them:
Have no cash value
Are non-transferable
Are non-refundable
Cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or bank refunds
Under no circumstances shall the Company be liable to:
Refund Scale Points
Refund any amount equivalent to Scale Points
Refund the value of any discount applied through Scale Points or converted coupons
This applies even in cases of order cancellation, return, refund, or dispute.
9. Complimentary Benefit Disclaimer
As Scale Points are a complimentary loyalty perk:
The Company may refuse to issue Scale Points
The Company may debit or cancel awarded Scale Points
The Company may invalidate redeemed coupons
The Company may decline any refund claims relating to Scale Points or their monetary equivalent
Such actions may be taken due to system adjustments, order corrections, misuse, policy violations, or unforeseen circumstances.
10. Misuse, Abuse, and System Corrections
The Company reserves the right to take corrective action, including suspension or cancellation of Scale Points, in cases including but not limited to:
Multiple account creation
Referral misuse
Fraudulent activity
Technical or system errors
Violation of website terms or policies
The Company’s decision in such matters shall be final and binding.
11. Modification, Suspension, or Termination
The Company reserves the right to:
Modify this policy
Change earning or redemption rules
Suspend or terminate the Scale Points program
at any time, without prior notice. Continued use of the website after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Scale Points program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
